April 1, 2018: Second application deadline
June 1, 2018: Third application deadline
August 1, 2018: Fourth application deadline
We do not expect Fellow candidates to have a fully formed school start-up proposal (replete with academic, strategic and business plans) but only a deep sense of calling and interest.
The fellows process is designed to assist with the dreaming and leadership phase of your possible school, as well as help discerning your calling for the visionary leader role. We believe it takes a unique blend of calling, character, leadership gifts, cultural competency, vision, and entrepreneurial experience to successfully design and launch a new God-centered school.
Step 1: Fellow candidates complete a brief School Planter pre-screening. This includes uploading your resume and submitting answers to short answer questions about your leadership and school proposal, as well as references via email and a draft school design and launch timeline.
Step 2: You will have a phone interview with a member of Spreading Hope team, to determine alignment around our model.
Upon selection for fellowship, you and a group of others will be invited for a two day hosted visit of Hope Academy.
Hope Academy is a flagship for our Christian schools. The development and growth of Christian schools like Hope Academy is so encouraging. CSI is excited by the school planting efforts of the Spreading Hope team.Jeff Blamer
I am so thankful for Hope Academy and the Spreading Hope team. We started our school for low income urban youth in 2014 and are now serving nearly 80 students in grades K-5. I simply can’t imagine where we would be without their support and direction.Doug Fern
